AB Commercial HR Solutions is headed up by Adrian Berwick, an MCIPD qualified Human Resources professional with a general HR background gained in numerous sectors including Property and Facilities Management, Construction, Distribution and Logistics, Retail, Engineering and Production, Manufacturing, Private Equity and PLC’s, in the public sector and in PFI/PPP arrangements.

HR expertise ranges from input on strategic planning through to practical advice on Employee Relations issues including TUPE, Ill health management, Recruitment, Remuneration and Benefits, Terms and Conditions and Pensions.

Adrian’s experience spans senior HR roles in the private sector including various multi-site operations including Graham Builders Merchants, Schindler Lifts Ltd, Well Well Well Ltd (incorporating Thirsty Work), a privately owned and VC backed water bottling business and Bellrock, a leading UK Property and Facilities Management provider.

Our HR Experience

  • Extensive Employee Relations experience handling large case loads of Disciplinary, Grievance, Performance, Ill health and Dismissal issues in both unionised and non-union environments, as well as senior management exit arrangements.
  • Project Management of large scale re-organisation and re-structuring exercises, TUPE transfers and managed settlement agreement negotiations, HR strategies, policies and processes to fit business goals, working closely with CEOs and MD’s to restructure senior teams.
  • Managing pay reviews, developing bonus and commission arrangements and project managed outsourcing to Payroll Bureau services.
  • Talent management and people development, career development programmes, mentoring and HR skills training.
  • HR aspects involved in the sale, purchase, merger and acquisition of businesses including due diligence.
